Choose AmpFlow compact 38 mm planetary gearmotors with integrated encoders when extreme precision, integrated feedback, and moderate torque are required. Our planetary gearheads deliver low backlash, high repeatability, and smooth torque transmission across a wide range of reduction ratios. These motors can be used with voltages ranging from 12V to 36V. Available reduction ratios range from 1:5 to 1:100.

¹ The above specifications are for the motor's nominal voltage. The motors can also be used at lower or higher voltages. The RPM is proportional to the voltage, so running at half the nominal voltage will result in half the speed, and twice the voltage will double the speed. The maximum achievable torque is also proportional to the voltage. Shorter duty-cycles are recommended for higher voltages to allow the motors time to cool.

Encoder

The 38 mm planetary gearmotors are supplied with a magnetic encoder. The encoder is mounted on the back of the motor and includes a 10-inch cable. It has a resolution of 13 PPR.
